The Netherlands Color Institute (SNKI) has been managing the exam register and associated exam activities that were formerly under the BNK Foundation (Professional Organization of Dutch Color Experts) since August 1, 2025.
The BNK Foundation has received a new direction and objectives under the name XCONEA. To ensure the continuity and quality of the exam register, these tasks have been transferred to SNKI.
In practice, little changes for exam candidates and registered professionals: registrations, enrollments, and diploma recognitions now proceed through the Netherlands Color Institute.
The register of colour professionals is available at snki.nl/register: a public list of all certified Kleurkundigen (level 3) and Register Kleurvormgevers (level 4), with a verification page where every registration code can be checked.
