Netherlands Color Institute takes over BNK exam register

Transfer of exam register

The Netherlands Color Institute (SNKI) has been managing the exam register and associated exam activities that were formerly under the BNK Foundation (Professional Organization of Dutch Color Experts) since August 1, 2025.

The BNK Foundation has received a new direction and objectives under the name XCONEA. To ensure the continuity and quality of the exam register, these tasks have been transferred to SNKI.

What changes?

In practice, little changes for exam candidates and registered professionals: registrations, enrollments, and diploma recognitions now proceed through the Netherlands Color Institute.

Continuity guaranteed

• All existing registrations remain valid
• Exams are administered according to the same standards
• Diploma recognitions remain unchanged
