Register of colour professionals
Since 1 August 2025 the Netherlands Colour Institute (SNKI) maintains the register of colour professionals, formerly the quality register of the BNK foundation. The register lists everyone who obtained the Colour Advice or Colour Design diploma and makes every registration verifiable by registration code.
Kleurkundige
Register title for the Colour Advice diploma (Dutch vocational level 3), obtained through the Kleurenschool programme Kleuradvies.
Register Kleurvormgever
Register title for the Colour Design diploma (Dutch vocational level 4), obtained through the Kleurenschool programme Kleurvormgeving.
How do you get listed?
Registration is tied to the diploma. Whoever completes the Kleuradvies or Kleurvormgeving programme is entered in the register; the exam and registration are part of the programme. Every registrant receives a registration code, which can be verified on this site. Registrations from the former BNK register remain valid.
Programmes at the Kleurenschool
Verification
Every diploma and certificate holder has a unique code, for example SNKI-K4-2018-0003. The verification page shows name, title, year and status straight away.
Own page in the register
Registrants with a level 3 or level 4 diploma can extend their listing with their own page: a short text, a photo and a link to their website. € 75 per year (excl. VAT). The basic listing is and remains free.
