RAL GmbH in Bonn and the Netherlands Color Institute Foundation have strengthened their partnership by signing a distributor agreement. SNKI has been active as a reseller of RAL for several years, but by signing the distributor agreement, the collaboration between both parties is further intensified.
In addition to delivering standard RAL products, the collaboration will also involve customer-specific products, such as RAL individual. Furthermore, the parties will focus on knowledge exchange, with each gaining access to the other's training programs and materials.
The Netherlands Color Institute (SNKI) is the knowledge and advisory platform for color. SNKI aims to serve Dutch society by making knowledge, skills, and products (such as RAL, NCS, VeriVide) available to those who want to strengthen the Netherlands in the field of color, color application, and color technology.
RAL is the applied language of color. With the RAL CLASSIC and RAL EFFECT color collections and the RAL DESIGN SYSTEM plus, RAL offers professional color users a broad selection of accurate color samples.
The RAL color range includes a total of 2,530 colors. With color cards, plastic standards and software products, as well as color design and trend books, RAL offers the ideal product for every design purpose.
At the same time, it is the common goal of RAL and its partners to develop principles for sustainable design and to initiate the color language of the future.
On the occasion of RAL's 100th anniversary, the RAL K5 color fans are now produced with water-based paint technology, with a 90% reduction in VOC emissions.
NCS Colour adds 100 new NCS standard colors in the low saturation color area to give users more options and more control when working with these colors.
